Joseph Nguyen, violinist, is a senior at Southwestern Oklahoma State University majoring in both music therapy and violin performance. Throughout his high school career, he studied under the instruction of James Ruggles, and expanded his musical proficiency in the Union Orchestra and the Tulsa Youth Symphony Orchestra. He also regularly competed in regional and statewide competitions. He has also played alongside the Oklahoma Arts Institute at Quartz Mountain for the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence. Throughout his time at SWOSU, studying music therapy and violin performance, he has learned extensively under the instruction of Dr. Alex Lee. He has had the honor of performing in the SWOSU Symphony Orchestra, the SWOSU String Ensemble, as well as the Southwestern Singers. Joseph plans to have his music therapy internship at Oral Roberts University and is looking forward to the good things his education will bring.
The group meets each Saturday at 8:30 am in the St. Joseph room for the Litergy of the Hours, Morning Prayer, and Office of Readings. Men of all ages aew welcome to join. This is an excellent opporunity for fathers and sons to pray together.
